I have chosen to analyse this cover because it is a magazine that covers entertainment and popular music. Firstly you can tell this is a magazine because it has a masthead in the correct place, also there are stories that appear on the cover and a mid shot, the angle of the shot is also different as she is looking away from the camera which is unusual for magazine cover.The magazine has also stuck to the 3 colour rule by only using grey, yellow and white.
It has the main cover stories in bigger text to make it stand out and attract the readers attention. You can tell magazine is aimed at older reader because of firstly some if the cover stories and also because of the picture on the front as it more mature. The magazine is also appealing to its readers as it features stories that are aimed at its reader and are also current and interesting.
